We consider the medium as a mutable vessel to hold, synthesize and reconstitute information; experimenting within modalities specific to each output. Our collective attention is directed towards multidimensional and transdisciplinary works that have, to date, manifested in interactive plurisensorial experiences, immersive installation, still and moving image, costume and set design/fabrication, print media, and grand-mundane happenings [via INTERVENTIONS, COMMISSIONS & COLLABORATIVE PRODUCTIONS].

From an empirical knowledge of cultural overwhelm: mass production, over-consumption of “content”, and the ubiquity of curated media, we recognize the challenges of “making work” in the context of a society that is gorged and congested from an “all-you-can-eat” buffet of things and information.

Saint Profanus is interested in chartering a course through such terrain in order to better inform novel approaches to artistic production and representation.
